Meet the team

Romans 12:4-6 tells us “For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us…”

Many people contribute to the work of our church in a variety of ways. Our leadership comprises our Minister and Elders. We also have a Finance Committee who oversee practical matters in the church. We have also appointed a prayer secretary and mission secretary to support our work.

We are hugely thankful for all the many volunteers who help to run different aspects of congregational life but the following people have specific roles within our team.

Minister: Stephen Allison
Stephen Allison has been our minister since 2018. He is married to Tizzy and they has four girls – Emily, Bethany, Joanna & Julia. In his spare time Stephen enjoys practicing Magic Tricks. Tizzy enjoys hiking and rock climbing. Before becoming a minister Stephen was a solicitor. Stephen is also involved in the wider work of the Free Church of Scotland as an Assistant Clerk to the General Assembly and Public Engagement Coordinator.

Community and Family Worker: Marta Mitchell
Marta has been our community and family worker since 2025. She helps run children’s events and community events. She is also leading the work of Young Life International in the area and Women’s ministry in the church. Having spent most of her life in Carnoustie on the east coast, Marta has moved up to the area with her working cocker Spaniel, Lachlann. She is enjoying exploring the countryside on long walks with her dog and snugging up with her knitting or crochet in the evenings.
